Project Support Officer
Velma works in the project in the capacity of Project Support Officer. She is in charge of all administrative issues and also supports the project management team where necessary. She holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and brings on board her experience in different development projects in Africa.
Géraldine is in charge of communications and awareness raising for the project. She holds a Masters degree in advertising and commercial communications. She has been working with the UNEP on awareness and public information campaigns that cover a wide range of policy, social, and environmental topics.
Nuno is in charge of implementation support in Cabo Verde, Sao Tome y Principe and Comoros. He works closely with the Project Coordination Unit, the demonstration project managers, and all IWRM Policy Advisors. He graduated in Biological Science. Before joining the project he was the Director General for management of natural resources at the Ministry of Environment of Cabo Verde.
Regional Project Coordinator
Daniel is responsible of coordinating the project at the regional level. He holds M.Phil degree in environmental Studies and Masters in Business Administration, and has expertise in natural resource management, integrated water resource management, programme management and administration gained in different regions of Africa.
