Mahe, Seychelles - On 29 August 2017, the ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change of Seychelles conducted a training on negotiation, conflict management and resolution mechanisms in the context Integrated Water Resources Management. The training gathered 18 participants, among which members of Caiman and Val d’En D’Or watershed committees established by the Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EBA) project that is also implemented by the ministry. Mahe, Seychelles, 12 July 2017 - The Cabinet of Seychelles officially endorsed the very first National Water Policy for Seychelles, as well as a national integrated water resources management (IWRM) plan and the drafting of the new Water Bill. The implementation of the new Water Policy will be done through the 5 year IWRM plan and will start immediately with the drafting of a new Water Bill.
